Don't know how to play poker? NO PROBLEM! To be honest most of our guests are novices to poker and still have a fantastic time. You’ll enjoy an extended cocktail hour, attentive hosts and hostesses, a special surprise musical guest, mini live and silent auction shopping, celebrity guests, and most definitely amazing food and premium beverages. No formal sit down dinners at POKER SLAM - just a great evening benefiting the inspirational kids of Inspire Youth Project.

We support the incredibly deserving local children's organization INSPIRE YOUTH PROJECT. Hosted by Pictionary inventor, Rob Angel, it is the most fun for a great cause you will ever experience! Last year, Poker Slam raised over $165,000 for these wonderful kids and with your help we are looking forward to meeting our new goal of $200,000 this year!

Here are some of the incredible things Poker Slam helps to support with the funds raised at the event: 

• $35,000 - provides a full week of Inspire Youth Project residential summer camp programming - from celebrating nature and self-expression to embracing diversity and creativity. 
• $10,000 - funds Inspire Youth Project's full Transition to Adulthood workshop series helping young adults prepare for college, plan for financial stability and succeed in the job market. 
• $5,000 - covers the cost of Inspire Youth Project's Teen Retreat - where teens tackle challenges together, identify their strengths and build life-long friendships. 
• $2,500 - gives first and second graders five incredible days of exploration and learning thru Inspire Youth Project's summer day camp.
• $1,000 - honors strength and perseverance of Inspire Youth Project kids by funding a post-secondary education scholarship.
• $500 - provides wholesome dinners every night of Inspire Youth Project's Magic Circle so our kindergarteners can focus on learning and not on their tummies. 
• $250 - ensures that an Inspire Youth Project family has holiday gifts for EVERYONE in the family. 
• $100 - provides a full-day interactive volunteer training so that Inspire Youth Project volunteers can have the tools they need to empower and inspire.
